Drive it like you . . .
Check out the newest blog posts, Peloton recommendations, favorite products, and what's making me happy this week (February 16th edition)
Drive it like you stole it. We all know that expression. I’m not talking about stealing a car. But rather taking control of your life. However, a better expression as a friend pointed out is Drive it like you earned it. And that my friends is a great mantra. Work hard, take control, and live the life you want because you (insert expletive of choice) earned it.
This Week’s Poll
In last week’s poll, almost half of you shared that you spend most of your social media time on Instagram. I’ll be running an awesome giveaway (details in the next newsletter and on my Instagram).
I’d love to follow you. If you’re on any of the above, you can find me at mypursestrings and I’ll follow you back!
As always, I have lots to share in this newsletter. If you’re new to this newsletter, welcome. You can find all my past newsletters here in Substack and all my blog posts over at www.mypursestrings.com.
My emails often contain affiliate links. I only talk about products I use, love, & recommend. You can read my full disclosure & privacy policy here.
What’s making you happy this week?
What’s making you happy? Share it below or or send me a message.
Here’s what’s making me happy :-) in no particular order:
Protein Hacks
I’m trying to get more protein into my plant-based diet (while limiting dairy, not easy). Here are some of my favorite ways:
chia and hemp seeds on everything
pea protein milk (add to above)
Ryze mushroom overnight oats with 20g! (Save 15% with my promo code MYPURSESTRINGS15!)
Chef Woo Instant Ramen, also 20g (but high sodium)
You can find all my protein bars and snack posts here.
Girls Weekend
I spent last weekend in Austin, Texas, my first time in the state, and it was everything I needed. (Also, my friend rented a car from Turo, an Airbnb-like company for cars; it was a great experience. I’m planning on booking it for my trip next month.)
If you’re looking for the most amazing fitness center, you must stay at the Proper Hotel (blog post coming soon). In the meantime check out my blog post below on How To Use a Peloton at a Hotel.
